I'd like to find a similar short, stout door sweep brush like that depicted in the photo(s) attached.

We do not carry an exact match for your door sweep but the 40-111 attaches to the face of the door like yours. Review the dimensions below to determine if this could work for your repair. Thanks for posting!

Its a North facing door, so ice destroys this type of sweep within the first week. Do you offer any brush options in a door sweep?

If not, can you share the terminology for exactly what I'm looking for, so that I might find it elsewhere?

Unforutnately, we do not carry a door sweep that uses pile like yours but we do carry a selection of wool pile, which you can view here. Note that ours install with a flat backing that would insert into a track. Take a look to see if your sweep might accommodate one of our replacements. I would refer to your part as a type of pile commercial door sweep but keep in mind that different companies use their own terminology for various parts.
