Doors suffering from contraction

A quick learner from Michigan says:
Hello. I have Delta 2188 door rollers in my sliding glass door to my patio. Temperatures where I live are dropping and the sliding glass door is currently being subjected to contraction making the door out of whack where I cannot even lock the door. I have been trying to adjust the rollers and I'm having no luck. I have taken the rollers out and they seem to be fine and not defective. I'm sort of scratching my head on how these operate when turning the adjustment screw. If someone could please get back to me with some information or tips on how these rollers operate it would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,

I believe your Delta roller is the same as the 81-156. To adjust these types of rollers, you will need to use a Phillps-type screwdriver and turn it clockwise to bring the wheel down which will raise your patio glass door. To lower your patio door, you'd need to turn that adjustment screw counterclockwise. Take note that it's best to have someone raise up the door to take the weight off the roller when trying to adjust it. Thank you.
