When bottom window sash is opened it does not stay up in place. Keeps falling.

Hello,

It looks like you need replacement coil balances. There's a good chance that we can supply the parts you need but we would need to see the pivot shoe and coil springs fully removed from the window to compare to our inventory. Could not figure out how to remove pivot shoe & coil springs. Not sure if these additional photos will help ?
One of the photos I send initially was of data tag. Would you be able to identify from this info ?

Thanks for getting back to us. We can't be sure of what you need with the balance shoe still installed but the S161-11 would be a good place to start. We also offer the 16-030 mounting bracket if needed.

You'll ultimately need to remove the original hardware to confirm the specifications match up to yours. The best way to do that is to make a cutout as shown below if the jamb doesn't have them already.
