
Double Hung Window Slide Block Shoe with Pivot and Brake

The part is T-shaped with three (3) distinct components; the plastic T-shaped block shoe, the metal pivot and a plastic piece that appears to function as a brake for the pivot as it looks like it squeezes against the pivot when inserted into the window slide track.

This looks like a match for our 15-195. Look it over and see if you agree.

You are correct. I found the 15-195 on thew Swisco site after I made the inquiry.
The 15-195 was a perfect fit and a perfect fix.
Note...for my particular vinyl window I didn't even have to spread the balance bar slot.
I just rotated the T-Lock Balance Shoe 90 degrees so the brake was pointing up and down, with the top pointing towards the opposite side jamb, slipped it in to the balance slot, rotated the cam face towards the bottom jamb, installed the balance bar and done...all set for the window.
The whole repair took about twenty minutes total for both sides, including re-installation of the window.
The 15-195 was a perfect fit and a perfect fix.
