How do you tell how strong the spring(s) need to be?

The 24 lbs window has two springs one side where the inside spring is stamped "C" and the outside "CL". A different size 19lbs window has only one spring stamped "F".

Hi there!

It looks like you have our 15-175 pivot shoe which is compatible with the Series 152 coil springs. If your coils don't have any numbers included in the stamp, you'll need to weigh the sash and divide the weight by the number of coils on both sides of the window to choose the correct stamp option.
