Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that I would not be able to provide much advice on how to repair your window using the photo of the window sticker. Based on the description of the issue, it sounds like your may have damaged hardware like balances or top sash guides.

To be able to determine the best course of action to take to complete your repairs, I'll need to see a photo of the hardware from a similar working window or even the hardware from a window that is damaged, if possible.

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

The centerpiece on the side of the windows, one side, solid, the other side floats around. Is there a way to repair that?

Thanks for providing the photos. It appears that you have channel balances installed in the window. Typically when the window is jammed, it indicates that the top sash guides have become damaged and need to be replaced.

I've included a few video tutorials below with instructions on how to repair a jammed window, how to replace a top sash guide, how to replace a channel balance, and how to identify the balances. Take a look at each of them for a demonstration on what you will need to do to repair the window.

Once you are able to remove the hardware I'll need to see a photo of an undamaged top sash guide to identify the replacement you need. If both top sash guides in the window are damaged, you may need to remove one from a similar window.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.
