Double hung blance

Question

I need to replace a balance that is stamped "26 4 FT CMC 4".

I think I need a 26" 380 series. Does that seem correct? Does the old code tell the weight I need?

I'm afraid not. The stamp only indicates how strong the spring is. Keep in mind that the Series 380 comes with the 19-005 top and 15-005 bottom. Carefully compare the pictures and dimensions we show for these pieces to your own hardware to confirm if they match.
