Balance system or Pivot Lock shoes for a double hung window manufactured by thermal industries.
It's the part that holds the top sash up(double hung) from just dropping when unlocked.
Markings : 16E BS1 V

Thanks for writing in. I believe you might have the S770-16 Tilt Window Channel Balance, with a stamp of 16E, but it is incumbent to remove the old balance and carefully compare to confirm. Ensure the bottom clip matches, as well as the way the balance attaches to the top of the window track (with a screw). Let us know if anything differs.
