Double hung widow balances

Question

I have a 1950's era double hung wood window that looks to have a stamped metal track for the windows to slide up and down on.

The metal piece is held in by 4 small nails at the corners and if I removed those nails both the windows and metal track could be removed from the jamb.

Are these metal tracks available as replacement items or is there a newer product that could be fixed to replace this in the window
