Double hung window.

Question

I have a problem making windows work because on each side there is a u shaped metal piece with wedged shaped plastic tips fastened to the u shaped piece at each  end. which is as long as the bottom window. The metal won't  stay put. These are older aluminum windows. Maybe 20 years old.Cant read the the name stamped on the lever lock. Looks like Kaira.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Because you have older hardware, I think the best way to approach this would be to start with having you send us some photos of the parts as well as provide as many measurements as possible. From there, we can see if we can provide a new replacement and have this issue fixed for you.
