Double hung window

If the sash fell, it sounds like the problem is most likely with the window balances. These parts are normally installed on the left and right sides of the window to support the weight of the sash as it is raised and lowered. Based on what is shown in your photos, this is a bit of an unusual window setup that I'm not familiar with. 

With that being said, we'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see detailed photos of your balance assembly removed from the window to compare to our inventory. Make sure to include both ends and any numbers stamped on them. We'll relate a few videos on this page to assist you depending on the type of hardware your window is using. Thank you.
