Double hung window balance

Question

Replacing window portion of 25 year old Simonton windows.  While replacing realized that plastic cam inside coil balance is cracked and non-functioning.  Coil has 407 imprinted on it but no other markings noted.

This looks like our 15-192 Pivot Shoe. This uses Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Balances. See the video below for further details. Note that the Simonton version of this shoe has a slightly different metal cam. We recommend swapping out the new cam with your old one to ensure pivot bar compatibility.
