Our home was built in 1992. The balance mechanism is apparently broken on 2 of our double hung windows as they are very hard to lift and slam down if not held on. The stamping on the metal rail is 26XHD2. I appreciate knowing what part s and numbers I need plus any advice. Thanks you much. Max

Hello,
We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see your balance assembly fully removed from the window to compare to our inventory. Please include both ends of the metal channel and the clip at the end of the pulley cord in your photos. Thank you!
