Double hung window bottom seal

Home Owner from USA
Hello,

I need to replace the seal at the bottom of the sash on several windows. I am not sure what style of seal and what size would fit in the groove and still be thin enough to be able to fully close and lock the window. Please see pictures and let me know your thoughts and what product you may have. Thank you!

This is what it looks like when not damage and set into the groove.

Thank you for reaching out to us! I'm not sure but I wonder if the 58-055 could be used as a replacement. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

Hello,
I think that 1/8" is too big for the groove. From what I can tell, the groove is about 2 mm wide
Also, would the round art (at 9/32") flatten (and how much) when closing the window?
DO you provide samples of your products?

Yes, the 58-055 compresses and we do offer samples for some of our weatherstripping! You would just have to pay for shipping. With that said, I will email you a link that you can use to place an order for a sample of the 58-055

After investigating further, I think that item 58-053 might be what I need.
However, to be sure, could you send me a sample? If so, I do I proceed to request and pay for it?
Thank you!
