Double hung window parts

Hello, the pieces that the pane fits into seem broke, and I'm not sure if the spring part has to be replaced as well . Attached are the pics of the window sash and track the parts fit in

See our 15-175 Pivot Shoe. This shoe uses our Series 152 Coil Balances. Let me know if you have any other questions. If your old coil housing is undamaged you could re-use it; otherwise, see our newer style 15-143, 15-144 and 15-145 parts that sandwich around each coil spring.

Ok thanks, it appears to be undamaged, is it hard to replace the coil balance and pivot shoe? It seems like it's tough to get in there.

Hi Mike. The video below shows how to remove and replace a similar coil balance system. See if this helps. If the coils are undamaged you only need to replace the pivot shoe, really. But it's good to remove everything and check to see.
