Double hung windows

Question

We have about 6 double hung windows that have failed -- won't stay up. They were installed about 20 years ago.
There's a number on the side--21TG.

Thanks for writing in! The balance you have here appears to be missing its attachments. This is most likely to be the reason they are no longer holding the window up.

I believe we can provide you with a replacement for them, but I'll need to see photos of the top and bottom attachments. I'll also need to see any other hardware and/or accessories that are still in the window track.
