Double hung windows.

Question

I have Allside windows. They fuction just fine. However, there is air coming through all the windows when they are closed and locked. I taped plastic over some of them to be sure the air was coming through.Is there some adjusment I can do to prevent this from happening? Thanks.

It sounds like an issue with your weatherstripping. There's no adjustment or anything that can be made here, you probably just need to replace the stripping.

Your first step should be to carefully examine the weatherstripping installed around your window to see if it is, indeed, worn out or damaged. Then remove the least damaged portion you can find and show us a photo of the end profile. The video below will explain what I mean.
