Question

The distance between the mounting screws is 9 3/4 inches total length of the unit opening is 9 3/8" by 1/2"

Thanks for posting. Start by taking a look at our 82-239. Just make sure that the latches point 'inward', as with the 82-239. You will likely need to reuse your old face plate. Let us know if you think this is what you're looking for.
