Double mortise

A quick learner from Chicago says:
Hi
Looking for a double mortise lock. If unavailable would buy a whole new handle, mortise and lock. Happy new year and thank you.

I'm sorry to say that I don't recognize the hardware your door uses. The handle set has a very unique design and we carry nothing like it. As such, I'm not sure if any of our mortise locks are usable on your door.

The only thing that's familiar to me is the keeper. This is strongly reminiscent of our 89-030, which is commonly used with the 82-238 mortise lock. This may be what you need but I do not know if it will be compatible with your existing handle. Look it over and see what you think.

Hello!

I have the exact same door handle as the previous person posted. My handle is broken and needs to be replaced. The mortise lock (82-238) is what I currently have. Do you think I should try your handle 82-081? Thanks!

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello! The 82-081 is a pretty safe bet. It is the only handle set I know of that is at all compatible with the 82-238. You should just review its photos just to ensure that everything aligns.

A handy person from Chicago says:
Hi, replying to our conversation above. This keyed door handle is perfect replacement for mine (see pictures). The 82-238 mortise and 82-081 handle work perfect. If anyone else asks and has the same old handle as I did, this all works! Thanks!
