Our desk was known at the At Home collection sold at Organized Living stores in the early 2000's. I think it was a cheaper brand made by the company that made Techline.
It appears to be a drawer bumper / stopper. It's installed on the far end of the drawer slide/glide.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with this part. Would it be possible to see what it looks like installed? That would give us better context to figure out what it is and what can be done to replace it.
