Drawer Slide

Home Owner from Longmont, Colorado
I purchased item # 32-061 but I did not relize that the slides are connected to the back of the drawer like in the attached pictures. I cannot find the correct set to purchase and I cannot figure out how to disconnect the ones in my home. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for posting. Sorry for your trouble with the 32-061! You'll have to replace that bracket meant for an L-shaped track end with a simple straight socket. The 32-119 Bracket pair is compatible with the 32-061 and will work just fine.

As far as removing the existing sockets, these usually just plug into holes, kind of like a Lego. They'll be set in place pretty securely, but if you're firm then you should be able to "unplug" it without issue. Just don't force it; I have known some installers who actually glue these in. Give it a little test pull first to make sure you don't break the back of the drawer.

If it's glued in, you might need to get a glue remover solution, soak that in a wash cloth, then use that to loosen the socket. In either case, you'll need to drill new holes to install the 32-119. Let me know if you have questions.
