The first picture show a side view. The support rests on a ledge created by by a small board attached to the back of the cabinet. In pthe second picture (front on) the small slot is for a screw to fix the plastic bracket firmly to the small board and allows a little adjustment of the drawer glide left and right to make the drawer slide more smoothly. I n the right side of this picture is the support for the glide mechanism itself. The upper one is OK while the lower on has the glide support broken off. This was used in 2005 cabinets. They may have been Thomasville from Home Depot but I am not sure.
