Drawer guides for large armoire drawer

Quick Learner from Pembroke Pines, FL
Good afternoon,
Hoping you can help me locate this exact drawer guide. The wooden piece projecting out into the space is preventing me from using a typical hardware store replacement, and I would rather not cut that piece off, if I don't have to! Any ideas?! Thank you in advance,

Jean

It's tough to say what can replace this without dimensions. Consider our 32-118 as a possible replacement. Carefully go over our dimensions and let me know how they compare.

You're so right! Here are photos with the measurements of the drawer guide I'm inquiring about...thank you!

The most important part of the drawer guide is the dimensions where the drawer slides through. We believe the 32-118 matches where the drawer slides through is 1-3/16" by 5/16" high. Look it over and see what you think.

The most important thing for me is that long narrow space measuring more than 2" - underneath the runner. Your piece does not have a wide enough space to accommodate the piece of wood that exists through that space for stability. Any other ideas? Thank you!

I'm afraid that we couldn't locate a drawer guide with an opening that wide. The largest potential opening for any of our products is that of our 32-123, but that only goes up to 1-1/2" at maximum.

This part may not be made anymore, or it's unique to the maker of your dresser. Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide anything closer. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for trying to help me...do you think it's safe for me to cut that piece of wood, protruding through that space, so I could fit another guide there?

Yes, I think that will be fine, but you will need to use all three mounting holes to keep the guide stable.
