You're right, these don't mount to the cabinet in a normal way. It seems the two guides are specifically fastened to the wooden supports at the front and back end of the space available. I don't know for a fact, but I would assume that this is due to thinner walls that would limit your ability to use screws. That's bad news for us, unfortunately, since the only repair hardware we can recommend explicitly install by screwing to the walls of the cabinet. For example, we have the 32-119 rear socket and then a side spacer like the 32-334 or 32-339 (depending on how much clearance you have) that would secure the track to the side wall near the front. These parts could work for you, for sure, but if drilling holes into the walls directly is a troublesome prospect then you may need to get creative. In that situation i usually install a block of wood along the wall for reinforcement. The video below should clarify what I mean. See what you think. |
