Dyad operator with 4 and 7/16" arm

A professional from USA says:
I am looking at your Dyad operator #39-188. I have one just like this except the arm length is 4 7/16" instead of the 5". Will that effect the operation of the window or do they make a different arm size?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
One issue may be that your sash wouldn't close properly. Once in a while we come across an operator with a different sized link arm that's no longer manufactured. What you could do is try our 39-188, and if it doesn't operator properly you could move over the sash bracket that it attaches to. You could even try to remove the link arm and use your old one by attaching it with our 62-014 rivet.
