Dyad window operators

A quick learner from Canada says:
Hello, I have 25 year old pvc windows (glass replaced 5 years ago) with dyad 5" operators. They are kind of hard to open and I had three operators break this summer on the DYAD case. I also have a couple that are stripped at the point of almost fully closed. My question is whether there is a conversion to a better operator that you would recommend or is it best to replace in kind. Thank you.

A couple of suggestions do come to mind, but before I begin to introduce them to you I would like to see some photos of your current crank.
A quick learner from Saskatchewan says:
Sure, thank you, photos attached.

Perfect, thanks. Take a look at our 39-187 and 39-188, I think you'll find these match quite well.
