EMCO Forever Door Handle

So I have a EMCO Forever View model 1454005 door but it doesn't match the portals description, in any case I'm looking to replace the door handles hardware. I'm not sure if it's installed correctly or broken. I could use some guidance on how to proceed please.

Hello. Your door manufacturer has been out of business for quite some time but we often recommend our 40-058 handle as a replacement as long as the dimensions are compatible with your door. Take a look and let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
