When trying to fully close the window, I am not able to do so. The handle inside just "slides" and the window is partially ajar; I can hear some clicking sound. I have to manually move the window to fully close it.. Do I need to buy a replacement parts(s)? If so, please advise which parts.

Thanks!

Hello,

It does sound like you may need a new operator assembly, though you should check the hinges and other internal window linkage for wear and damage. Take a look at the video below that will help you determine the correct Encore operators for your windows. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for this information. Is there a video tutorial for replacing the operator assembly? Thanks!

We do not have an installation video for these particular operators but we do have a general casement window operator tutorial here, which shows a similar trim piece covering the base. In our experience, removing the trim is the trickiest part since the operator simply unscrews at the base and the arms would be released from the track and bracket mounted to the sash. Thank you.
