Eichler Home Kitchen Drawer rollers

Home Owner from Sunnyvale, CA

Hi - I'm trying to help my mother-in-law replace the broken/missing rollers on her kitchen drawers from a 1950s Eichler home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We can weld if necessary, so if we could find a part close enough, we could cut off the existing wheel section and attach a new piece to the straight track.

Or, long shot, if there is a hard rubber (but flexible enough) we could pop it over the existing rivet??? :)

Thank you for any help,

Susanne

Hello, Susanne. This might be a tough one. Based on the age of the cabinets, there's a good chance you won't find an exact match anywhere. Installing a new wheel may be possible, but we don't have anything that could just pop on. You would need to remove that post that's sticking out now and install a new one with a screw.

If that's something you'd be willing to try, let me know the diameter and thickness of the wheel you have now. I can then check to see if we have anything in our inventory that matches.
