Empire Pacific Glass Sliding Door Latch Mechanism

Question

This is the latch mechanism for a glass sliding door from Empire Pacific (part of Cascade now). The internal spring seems to have broken, so need to replace the mechanism. Unfortunately I removed the part before taking a picture so don't have an installed picture. Installation appears to be very tricky as I attempted it a few times but was not successful.

Thanks for posting. This looks like the 82-243 Mortise Lock to me. Please compare. It is meant to be a pretty tight fit into the hole in the door, and must be installed at an angle. The video below shows how.
