EntryGard 20544

I have two windows (images 5201 and 5204) where the drive pinion has come loose. Is that something I can fix or do I need all new crank assemblies. Both cranks have 20544 stamped on them, but one window only uses the long arm, where the other uses both arms. The long arm appear to be 9" long.

I have a third window where the gears are stripped (image 5208). It appears to be identical, model #20544 and ~9", but opens the window from the opposite side. Is there a left and right handed crank?

Thanks,

GeorgeĀ

Hello,

Once then worm gear that the handle attaches to separates from the base, unfortunately, the entire operator would need to be replaced. Take a look and compare the specifications of the 39-031 and 39-032 Entrygard operators to yours. We also offer the 39-107FK handle and cover kit for these operators, along with the list of related items shown on our product pages. Thank you!
