EntryGuard Two armed hardware for Transom window

Quick Learner from Westlake Village California
Our Transom window opens when cranked but when trying to close the window it stops closing even when cranking closed. It appears that the threaded ring piece on the crank arm holder is not seated properly in the hole. We have a second transom window and the threaded ring piece is seated within the hole so that the ring piece does not protrude. Do you have a tool to get this ring piece reseated properly or should we buy a replacement assembly? Thank you for your attention to this. Thanks.

In this case, the best option would be to do a full replacement. Have a look at our 39-348 awning operator and see if it is compatible with yours.
