Everclad Windows

Question

Everclad window has a left and right tilt mechanism that the ends are broken and no longer holds the window from tilting when the window is unlocked. Ruler in photo for approximate size. I could not find it in your catalog. Pictures are of the part both installed and removed.

Hi Dan,

These window latches are no longer available but we have a replacement solution that may work for your repairs. It involves converting the window to one that uses surface mounted latches.

The video tutorial provides a detailed demonstration on how to complete the repair, using the 26-228 and 26-229 tilt latches. Be sure to look over the specifications on the website to confirm these would be a fit for the top of the sash. If not, there are a variety of Surface Mounted Latches that can work for this repair.
