Existing Crank Assemblies are CORRODING severely

Quick Learner from Omaha, NE
Number on the hardware (attached to window frame: 40942 (sitting flat on the frame)

Photo 1: Shows the configuration of a crank assembly that is in good condition.

Photo 2: Shows the severe corrosion / degradation of the hinge "arms"... about ready to fail.

I've tried to look up what Shuco was using for their casement hardware, only to discover that they NO LONGER make windows in the US. I'm figuring the hardware is standard (as supplied by a domestic manufacturer).

I expect that replacement hardware comes as one composite unit.

Take a look at our 39-171 and 39-172. Look over the dimensions and see if they match what you need. These operators have an electrostatically applied finish that is meant to possess excellent resistance to corrosion and other forms of wear. For a new crank handle, see our 39-114L. Let me know if you have any other questions.
