Hi there!

We can help supply your balances but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. I'm going to email you a purchase link and price quote for 8 balances that you can use to place an order on our website. If you have any questions just let me know!

Thank you Emily!

I did have one question before I placed an order for the new balances - I was curious if you thought the balances pictured above are the correct spec for the window sashes?

The only reason I ask is because when closing the windows with these current balances it seems more difficult than it should (and I definitely don't feel the same type of resistance when I am opening the window). I'm not sure if this is because the balances are just old or because they may be incorrectly rated (too strong) for the window sashes they support.

Here is all of the info I could gather about the window sash:
- Weight: 20 lbs
- Dimensions: 33.5" x 29.25"
- Double pane

Let me know if you need any more info - thanks!

I'm glad you brought that up! Your 25 5 stamp is actually too strong for your sash weight which explains why you're having trouble closing your windows. Since your sash weight is 20 pounds, you'd need the 25 4 stamp option which supports a sash weighing 18-24 pounds. With that said, I'm going to email you a new purchase link and price quote for 8 balances with the 25 4 stamp. Let me know if you have any questions!
