You also mentioned a takeout clip, but I didn't see that in your photos. Can you show me the type that your window currently has?
I think it's a takeout clip but not sure if my verbiage is right - it was on the inner part of my windowsill.
Hello! That clip there is the attachment clip for the balance, not the take out clip. That said it's just as important since it's what allows the balance to anchor to the track. All of our balances come with this clip pre-attached to the cord, so they'll be ready to install out of the box.
