Extended-Travel Channel Balance Quote

Here the answers to the requested questions:
Length of metal channel - 26" (assuming this is true due to stamp of 25 5)
Stamp printed on metal channel - 26 6
Manufacturer of window and when it was made - Unknown...

I am in need of two window balances since I have one window that requires a replacement. However, I can also check out my other windows to see if I need more as well.

Hopefully my pictures show more detail that is needed. My window balance has a pulley in the bottom fitting. Your website shows that I need a custom order for this type. Would it be OK to replace my window balance to one that has a standard fitting that does not have a pulley in the bottom fitting? Or would that cause problems?

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length of 25-5/8" which is what makes it custom.

I'm afraid a stock balance cannot replace what you have. The issue when trying to use a stock balance to replace this is that if you were to use a 25" version, both the metal channel and cord would be too short and the sash wouldn't be able to close. Meanwhile, a 26" would be too long, and you'd run into the same issue.
