Question

The metal channel is 28.5 long and 1/2 inch wide
If there is only one balance per window, then I will need 5 total

The windows are Milgard and they are original to the home that was built in 2005

Hello,

We can supply your replacement balances but it will need to be a custom order due to the length, extended travel pulley system and unique combination of end attachments. Also, please note that there should be one balance on each side to support the weight of the sash, meaning there would be a minimum of two for each window.

We also strongly recommend replacing both balances at the same time. Replacing only one can result in damage to the hardware or the window itself. Once we confirm the number of balances you'd like to order, we'll be happy to send over a price quote. Thank you!
