Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 5/8" which is what makes it custom.

I see that you said there were no markings on your balances but I noticed a stamp (29 4) on your balance in your second photo here. With that in mind, the metal channel should measure 29-5/8" long. Can you also check the other balance for a stamp and tell us what it is? Additionally, can you confirm that both balances are identical other than the length and stamp?  Custom orders are nonrefundable so we just want to be thorough.

For the 29-5/8" long balance, the 29 4 stamp is calibrated to support a sash weighing 22 to 27 pounds but you say your window weighs 17 pounds. Have you ever had any trouble opening or closing your window? We usually like to recommend sticking with the original stamp unless there have been issues with opening or closing the window.

We can also supply you balances with the 29-3 stamp which is calibrated for a sash weighing 15 to 22 pounds. Just let me know which stamp you'd like to go with and I can draft a price quote.
