17 Year Old Extended-Travel Channel Balances

We can supply your replacement balances but it will need to be a custom order due to the length, extended travel pulley system and unique combination of end attachments. Before we get started, keep in mind that these balances will come with 25-5/8" long metal channels, not including the end fittings. This should match your original balances. We'll also need to know the numbers stamped on the metal channel to determine the strength options for your new balances. Lastly, we'll need to confirm the number of balances that you need, with the minimum being two. Thank you! 

Thanks for getting back to us. Unforutnately, we would need to know the exact weight of the window sash to provide your replacement balances if there are no stamps on the originals that indicate the spring tension. We also are not able to use the size of the window as a reference since the materials determine the weight. If you are not able to remove the sash, you can try putting a scale on the window sill and carefully lowering the sash onto it once it is fully disconnected from the balances. Keep in mind that since these balances will need to be custom ordered, the replacement must match the exact specifications of the originals since they can not be returned for a refund. Thank you,
