Extended-Travel Channel Balance Quote

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 7/8" which is what makes it custom. For example, the metal channel ought to measure 26-7/8" long. Can you double-check that for us as custom orders are nonrefundable? Can you also confirm the number of balances you'd like to replace? 

The 18-008H comes to mind. I recommend you review the specifications and see if they match up with your old top sash guide.

Unfortunately, no stock balance can replace what you have here. The issue when trying to use a stock balance to replace this is that if you were to use a 26" version, both the metal channel and cord would be too short and the sash wouldn't be able to close. Meanwhile, a 27" would be too long, and you'd run into the same issue. Just something to keep in mind. 

I wouldn't say these balances are rare, we see them pretty often. The manufacturer determines what hardware their windows use. However, you can place an order for the top sash guide on our website at your convenience.
