Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 5/8" which is what makes it custom. For example, the metal channel should measure 25-5/8" long. Custom orders are nonrefundable so we recommend you double-check to be safe.

You said your stamp says 25 2 but in your photos, the stamp appears to be 25 5. I'm not sure if that was a typo or if you also need balances with the 25 2 stamp as well. Can you confirm that for me? Can you also confirm the number of balances you're looking to order? Lastly, can we see a photo of the bottom shoe from a side angle?

Hi Emily,
You're correct. Metal channel is 25 8/8". And also the stamp is 25 5.

The reason I need a replacement is that the cable/rope broke on one side. Is it possible to just order the cable? If so, how much?

Lastly, how much if I order 2 of these (I only need to fix one window).

thanks!

Just to clarify my last question: I have one window, but only one of the channel balances is broken (the broken cable/cord). Can you confirm that I should replace both of them at once? (one on each side of the window?)

Depending whether I can just purchase the cable, please let me know how much it'd be for 2 cables or for 2 whole channel balances.

Please let me know if the of the photo of the bottom is sufficient. I can take a different angle, if needed.

thanks, Larry

Thanks for getting back to me! I'm afraid you can't replace the cords. We do recommend replacing the balances on both sides of the window though. Pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the new balance to wear out much faster as it'd have to pick up the slack for the old balance.

With that said, I'm going to email you a purchase link and price quote for (2) of these balances that you can use to place an order on our website.
