Because of that difference, I need you to tell me the weight of the sash, down to the ounce. That will allow us to recalibrate the spring to ensure it works on your window without issue.

I'm afraid that it does not. The entire reason we need the weight of the sash is because these older stamps are out-of-date and no longer conform with how the manufacturer calibrates their springs.

I'm afraid an exact weight is the only way we can move forward at this stage.
