Thanks so much for your patience during this busy season. These are indeed extended travel balances, and we can help. However I do have some complications I need to throw your way, unfortunately.

For full transparency: this exact assembly is no longer made. The manufacturer discontinued it. Now, there is a modern alternative that we sell. This works perfectly fine in all the same applications. Where it gets complicated is that the springs are calibrated differently.

Because of that difference in calibration, we need to basically recalibrate them from scratch for you. There are good odds that your existing stamps aren't sufficient. I'm afraid I need to ask you to get the exact weight for each stamp listed here so that we can do that for you.

Given that you need 5 different stamps, this is going to be a pretty hefty effort. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but it's necessary information. You can use any common bathroom scale to do this. Please make sure that the weights given are precise to the ounce.

do I just weigh each balance arm on a scale? how do I get you exactly what you need?

You need to weigh your sashes, not the balances. For clarity, the sash is the glass panel that the balances support. We need to know how heavy those are so that we can properly calibrate the springs to hold those loads.

Ok I have weighed all of the sashes. What do I do now? Can someone please help me get these ordered ASAP?
Thanks so much!
