Exterior Sliding Glass Door Roller

A handy person from MarVista says:
Swisco 23-286 almost matches the old part I removed from the exterior sliding glass door but the Swisco info on 23-286 says it is for a 'sliding Closet Door'.

There may be a possilility that someone in the past put the wrong replacent wheel in the exterior sliding glass door and the reference photos i have enclosed do not represent the proper wheel for the exterior sliding glass door.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for contacting us. There is sometimes some overlap between closet door rollers and mirror door rollers, but not often. I agree that the 23-286 looks similar. If the dimensions are identical then it's worth considering.

Keep in mind however that you're not showing us the complete roller. This is just the inside portion of a complete roller assembly. There is probably an outer housing still installed in your door and I cannot guarantee if the 23-286 will pop in that inner hosing. Traditionally, when it comes to sliding glass patio doors, we like to see the complete roller assembly together.
