Exterior handle for Pella patio door screen

Quick Learner from Dayton Ohio.
The screen door is a retractable spring-loaded screen. It works well but on the outside the small hook piece that is used when you're outside to open the door broke off. All other parts of the screen work well so I prefer not to replace the entire locking mechanism. Picture number two shows the exterior handle and the broken part is by the #4. Picture one shows the small piece that broke off. Picture number three is the interior locking mechanism.

Hello! If the only thing that broke is the little latch, then I recommend the 83-115. Look this over and see if it would work as a replacement for the original.

Perfect. Thanks

Hi,
I had the same issue. The hook broke from latch. And I got a replacement latch. But when I try to install it, looks like I have to break the wooden finish on the handle to reveal those screws underneath? Otherwise I don't see a way to tear it down and replace the latch.

Is there a piece of wooden finish cover available for replacement or I have to buy the entire handle?

Thanks.

If you pry that circular Pella logo off, there should be a screw underneath that lets you take off this entire handle set.
