Hello. I have a sliding glass door that stopped locking this morning. The lever that engages the lock was loose and none of the mechanisms were working. I unscrewed the entire piece from the door to view and the hardware in the attached picture fell out. I didn't see where it dropped from. After research it looks like our lock is a mortise lock that came from a Silverline door.
I put the door back together without this piece (because I couldn't figure out where it goes) and the door is now locking. This feels not good, though, to be missing a piece from the door. Any advice or help is appreciated.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure where the part shown in your photo came from. If you believe that it came from the mortise lock, we would need to see photos of the entire assembly to confirm if it is something that we carry. Thank you.
