Farley window slider and lock mechanism

Handy Person from Cartier MB

I have four horizontal sliding windows with 2 panes each. I am wanting to replace the upper and lower sliding locks on each of the panes, eight lower and eight upper. There's no identifying nos. so I'm submitting photos in order to identify the parts I need. I noticed there's an "L" on the back of the bottom slider/lock (left side of window)but haven't taken the top one off.

Thanks, Joe

Hi there- thanks so much for reaching out to us!

It's hard to tell exactly what you have from these photos. Can we see a photo of an unbroken latch, or even one that is still installed in the window? This will help us to determine the best replacement option for you.

Here`s four more photos, two side views, one showing dimensions without distorted angle shot. It also has an `L`on the back.

Thanks,

Joe L.

Looking at 26-243/244 or 26-419/420. Both look ok but I can't see what the difference might be.

Looks like 26-243 is the one, the snap-in keeper that keeps the latch in place is approx 3/16" vs the 3/8" in 26-419. If you can confirm, I'll be ordering 10 of each.

I personally think the 26-243 looks closer, but like you say it comes down to that snap in tooth. I'm afraid I cannot tell what position your snap in tooth is at, so all you have to do is confirm that measurement in your own part.
