Fasteners for latches

Question

I am replacing internal latches with surface mounted 26-435 latches. Can you tell me the height dimension for the 26-435 latches since it's not in the dimension image and also what fastener size is recommended with a white flat head? Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for your patience during our busy season. The 26-435 has a height of just over 5/16", which measures .33" using calipers. As for fasteners, you can use #8 screws to install the 26-435 tilt latches but the length needed depends on your sash specifications since the screw needs to be long enough to secure the latch but not too long to avoid hitting the glass.
