Fenestra/Detroit Casement window crank

A home owner from Whitestone, New York says:
My house was built in 1947. My right hand window crank is bad (stripped gear). The arm is 9 inches long. Will the 39-344 fit? Where is the part no. of my window crank located?

Thank You

Would you mind taking a few photos of your original window crank and uploading them so we can take a look?

I would begin by taking a look at the 39-001 and 39-002 Window Crank Operators.
A home owner from Whitestone, New York says:
Thank you. I will order the 39-001. If that works I will order some additional ones for other windows. Do you have any removal and installation instructions?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
They shouldn't be too difficult to replace. You usually have four screws in the base that attach the operator to the window frame. After you remove the housing base, the long arm with the bearing should just slide out of the window track below the window sash.
